Cooking with essential oils | Raw Jaffa Bliss Balls
One way many people come to start enjoying the world of essential oils and all their benefits is through preparing food with them.
It’s a family friendly, easy and delicious way to start exploring them and you’re going to be soaking up the benefits at no extra cost or effort!
Each workshop I hold gets treated to a round of bliss balls and last class actually went as far as to declare them “The best balls EVER” (insert ball jokes here) so since I’m not one to be stingy on sharing great balls, here’s the secret recipe just for you – it’s a great healthy alternative to sugary processed snacks for the whole family plus see below for the properties of the oils and the added bonuses they’re going to provide your body with.

* 2 cups pitted + chopped dates (medjool are best!)
* 1 cup almond meal
* 2 tablespoons cacao powder
* 2 tablespoons coconut oil
* Pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt
* 3 drops dōTERRA Wild Orange oil + 2 drops Grapefruit
* 5 drops dōTERRA Peppermint oil
* 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut for rolling
In a food processor, blend >
> Dates & almond meal first
> Then add salt, cacao + coconut oil
> When desired consistency is reached, add the essential oils in right at the end, this helps maintain the full flavour and integrity of the oils
> Press together a teaspoon of mixture at a time and hand roll into balls
> Toss in a bowl with the coconut to coat
> Set and store in the fridge
